A Nashville Native raised in Oak Hill. A Boy Scout and also a lifelong member of the Belmont United Methodist Church in Hillsboro Village and proud Uncle of 8 nephews and 5 nieces.

Graduated in Overton High School. A Nashville Tech in Architectural Engineering Technology and Attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville School of Architecture and David Lipscomb University in Marketing and Ethics.

Early stages of my Real Estate Career includes: Investing in 1978, at the age of 20, along with partners purchasing single family and multi-family properties and having acquired approximately 150 units by age 25; Operating Broker/Owner in 1983, started Cartwright Realty which later became Wallace Cartwright Company Real Estate Services. For seven years the Housing & Urban Development (HUD) contracted me as a Real Estate Asset Manager in 30 Tennessee Counties.
